ABOUT ME

WHO AM I?
I am a late identified multiply neurodivergent adult, parenting neurodivergent children.
I have many years of experience as a secondary school teacher and have completed recent neurodivergent-led training in Autism, PDA, ADHD and advocacy for neurodivergent individuals.
I use my teaching and presentation skills, combined with the knowledge and understanding from my training and lived experience, to offer bespoke, highly up-to-date and engaging education around neurodiversity.
SERVICES

SCHOOLS
I work with staff, students, or both to identify current understanding of neurodiversity. Ascertaining existing knowledge through use of discussion and bespoke questionnaire, I can then deliver tailor-made training. Education is in-person or online, with small groups or whole staff teams or student cohorts. I also signpost to other organisations for further support and training, or work with management to review and develop policies around inclusion.
OTHER ORGANISATIONS
I am available to work with staff in any organisation to increase understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity. This may be helpful for an organisation's own employee inclusion practices (for example as a part of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion), or to better support clients or service users. My bespoke, collaborative approach means whatever your needs, I can support you.

FAMILIES
I passionately believe in supporting neurodivergent young people and their families to explore and develop a positive neurodivergent identity. Essential to this is both education about neurodiversity, and the opportunity to seek connection with others with similar experiences. My knowledge of neurodivergent-led support services enables me to effectively direct families to appropriate local or online resources. In some cases, I can help families to advocate for their young people in schools or other areas of their life. Once again, the bespoke nature of my services mean I can fully adapt to your needs in consultation with you.
